Compress PDFs on Your Phone
No app to install, no account to create. Compress PDFs directly from Safari on iPhone or Chrome on Android - your file stays on a secure server and is auto-deleted in 5 minutes.
Works everywhere: iPhone, Android, iPad, and tablets. No App Store or Play Store download needed.
On iPhone & iPad
- Open Safari and go to crushmypdf.com.
- Tap the upload box, then choose Choose File → Browse.
- Pick the PDF from Files, iCloud Drive, Photos, or Recents.
- Select Medium compression and tap Compress.
- Tap the download button - the file lands in your Downloads folder inside the Files app.
Tip: If you have the PDF in Mail, tap and hold the attachment, choose Save to Files, then upload.
On Android
- Open Chrome and go to crushmypdf.com.
- Tap the upload box and pick Files (or your file manager).
- Browse to Downloads, Drive, or WhatsApp Documents.
- Choose Medium for most documents, or High if your portal demands a strict size.
- Tap download - the compressed file saves to your Downloads folder.
Tip: To upload from Google Drive, tap the three-dot menu in Drive → Send a copy → Save to device first.
Why Browser Beats an App
- No 50MB app download eating your phone storage.
- No permissions request for photos, contacts, or location.
- No tracking SDKs. A web page cannot read your photo library or contacts.
- No subscription paywall after the first compression.
- Files auto-delete in 5 minutes - mobile apps often keep a permanent local cache.
